My responsibility as the Director goes far beyond operations. It leads with compassion, building trust with families, creating quality care, and leading with integrity
I am Kaleigh, the Executive Director for The Landings of Lake Gaston. Choosing to become an Executive Director was more than a career decision for me; it was a calling from the heart. I have always believed that caring for others is one of the most meaningful ways to make a difference in the world. My passion comes from knowing every Resident has a story, a lifetime of memories and a journey to be honored with love, respect, compassion and dignity. My responsibility as the Director goes far beyond operations. It leads with compassion, building trust with families, creating quality care, and leading with integrity. It was easy for me to find my passion within this career when I learned that it was the little things that make a difference, a smile, holding a hand and reassurance that each Resident here is loved, or being present when we are needed the most. My heart is in the work. my passion is caring for others, and my PURPOSE is to make a difference in the lives of families who deserve peace when making such a life changing decision for their loved ones. Something interesting about me is that I am an introvert. I am quiet, reserved, and have a laid-back personality. My Grandaddy is my HERO and my heart who you will find me caring for when I am not at work caring for my Residents. My Mom had to most influence on my career decision. With over 10 years of experience in Senior Living, watching her lead from her heart and the difference she makes daily in the lives of her Residents are beautiful, and it is an honor to continue to learn from her. My passion for caring, my bubbly personality, and my ability to show love doesn’t end when I clock out. They extend beyond my work and shine through in the way I love, support, and care for my family and friends- those who have found comfort, warmth, and a sense of home in me. Being a Director is not what I do; It is a reflection of who I am.

I chose healthcare for a simple reason: I love helping others and have always been especially fond of the elderly
My name is Heather Ash, and I am married with three beautiful children. I have been with ALG Senior for 13 years. In my time off, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I chose healthcare for a simple reason: I love helping others and have always been especially fond of the elderly. They are so full of life and have amazing stories just waiting to be told—if you take the time to listen. One thing that no one knows about me is that I am a Pentecostal woman and I am a believer that anything is possible.
