“Opening during the times of Covid-19 has prepared us to be diligent in infection prevention and cautious when it comes to gatherings within our community,” said The Landings of Lake Gaston’s executive director Heather Foster. “That’s why this celebration has meant so much to our residents, our team members, our families and our community partners. We have not had the opportunity to truly recognize and celebrate our entrance into this community safely.”

After opening to serve Littleton’s area seniors on May 4 of this year, The Landings of Lake Gaston was eager to safely celebrate their grand opening at their Ribbon Cutting Celebration Tuesday, July 20.

With the help of the Lake Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce, The Landings of Lake Gaston and their guests commemorated their opening with an outdoor ribbon cutting ceremony and a blessing of their building. Two of the very first residents to call The Landings of Lake Gaston home were selected to partake in the ribbon cutting. Betty Pinelli and Ben Bokuniewicz were surrounded by their dedicated team of caregivers as they cut the ceremonial ribbon together.

“We are so excited that The Landings of Lake Gaston has chosen to be a part of the community here in the Lake Gaston region. They are an organization that clearly prides themselves on the ethics and belief of taking good care of the aging population,” said President and CEO of the Lake Gaston Regional Chamber of Commerce Leanne Patrick.

“Heather leads the most phenomenal team here. From the moment you walk through the front door, you can just tell that the residents here are very well cared for,” said Debra Richardson with The Landings of Lake Gaston. She continued to praise each member of the management team individually for their dedicated work to serving Littleton seniors.
